Warranty

Every sauna installed by our team carries a two-year Glo House warranty. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 always remain unaffected.

What warranty do you offer?

For all our saunas, including barrel, cube and compact models, Glo House provides a two-year voluntary warranty against manufacturing and material defects for private, non-commercial use, starting on delivery, when the sauna is installed by our team. Commercial use is subject to separately agreed warranty terms.

No glo-house voluntary sauna warranty applies if you assemble the sauna yourself or employ your own third party to assemble it. You or your chosen installer are responsible for defects caused by incorrect assembly, an unsuitable foundation or modifications.

This voluntary warranty condition does not remove your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We remain responsible for goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, including pre-existing manufacturing and material defects, regardless of who assembles the sauna.

Install on a firm, level base and follow all assembly and care instructions. Apply a suitable breathable wood oil or sauna-safe finish as directed, using only finishes suitable for the relevant surfaces and sauna temperatures. Keep proof of installation and maintenance.

Inspect all parts on delivery and report missing or damaged parts promptly, preferably within 48 hours, to info@glo-house.com with your order number, clear photographs and a short description. A later report does not remove your statutory rights.

For cold plunges and other products, warranty cover is subject to the supplied product terms; statutory rights remain unaffected.

What is excluded from the warranty?

The Glo House voluntary warranty excludes damage caused by incorrect assembly, unsuitable foundations, unauthorised repairs or alterations, storms, natural disasters and other external impacts.

For water-filled products and equipment, cover excludes freezing damage, heating a water-dependent stove without adequate water, and damage from unsuitable cleaning products or an incorrect water chemical balance. Empty water-filled tubs and stoves where the manufacturer's instructions require it when freezing is possible.

Normal stove wear and heat-related effects are excluded, including rust, oxidation, deteriorating paint or coatings, heat deformation and discolouration. Wearing parts such as outdoor-stove grates and the coating on chrome-plated couplings and nozzles are also excluded.

Natural timber cracking, colour changes, resin release, shrinkage, movement and associated leakage are not manufacturing defects. Mould, mildew and blue stain caused by environmental conditions, delayed protective treatment or inadequate ventilation are excluded. Fibreglass colour or surface changes caused by water, cleaning chemicals or care products are also excluded.

These exclusions apply to the Glo House voluntary warranty only and do not limit your statutory rights where goods are faulty or not as described.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Email info@glo-house.com with your name, order number, delivery date, a description of the problem and clear photographs or video. Please contact us before arranging repairs or returning parts so we can agree the appropriate next step.

For a valid defect claim, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include repair or replacement, within a reasonable time in line with applicable consumer law. Other statutory remedies remain available where applicable. Standard replacement-part delivery is used unless express delivery is agreed in writing. If you request an optional express service, any additional charge will be agreed with you in advance.

What happens if my sauna arrives damaged?

Please inspect your sauna and all supplied parts as soon as they arrive. Note visible damage with the driver and email info@glo-house.com, preferably within 48 hours, with your order number, clear photographs and a short description of any damage or missing parts. We will work with the manufacturer and carrier to arrange an appropriate remedy. Please avoid assembling damaged parts until we have advised you. The 48-hour request helps us investigate quickly; it is not a limit on your statutory rights for faulty goods.
