Foundations

Choosing the Right Foundation

A solid, level base is one of the most important parts of installing an outdoor sauna. The foundation keeps your sauna level, properly supported and protected from ground moisture.

Because barrel saunas typically weigh between 500 kg and 1,500 kg, they generally do not require deep foundations, but they must always be installed on a stable, level surface.
