Sauna & Cold Plunge: The Perfect Wellness Routine
Contrast therapy done properly. How to structure heat and cold into a routine you will actually keep.

Contrast bathing is the pairing of deep heat with sharp cold, and it is the reason so many of our customers add a plunge within months of taking delivery of a sauna.
A simple structure works best. Ten to fifteen minutes in the sauna, one to three minutes in the plunge, then several minutes at room temperature to let your body settle. Repeat two or three times and finish however you prefer.
Go by feel rather than by the clock. The cold should feel bracing, not punishing, and the pause between rounds matters as much as the rounds themselves.
For everyday convenience, our Spaer O'Spa 5 kW chiller and circulation pump holds your plunge at a set temperature and filters the water continuously. It is an upgrade rather than a requirement, but it turns the routine into something you can step into at any hour.
